desert to forest - but fast!
First the good news:
It is possible to grow forests where before was desert., and much quicker than thought possible. Want to walk through the UAE National Forest in 15 years?
The bad news, though:
The Arabian Peninsula is going to heat up 3-4°C until end of the century, impacting health, economy and quality of live. Even rigorous CO2 saving will not stop this - but covering large land areas with vegetation will!
